Intensives, sattes Rubinrot. Filigran-elegante Nase nach reifen Waldbeeren, Schokolade, im Nachhall leicht nach Zigarrenkiste. Am Gaumen überragt der süße Schmelz, baut sich weit und in vielen Schichten auf, elegant, im zweiten Teil stets saftig und ausgewogen, wunderbar harmonisch bis ins lange Finale. (O. Kiem, S. Lots of complexity comes through from the outset on the nose, borne out in terms of smoky black cherries, dried rose stems, asphalt, tar and licorice. Full, structured body that dives through layers of dark fruit, driven along by active acidity all the way to the long but not cloying finish. (James Suckling, 08/2017)
